MR.STRETCH
meet gary turner. he has a rare disease called ellers danlos syndrome, which loosens collagen in the body causing skin to stretch, bones to dislocate, and in some cases it can cause organs to shift positions. all his fame came at a price, he has severe bone pain, will experience premature wrinkles, and his skin will tear like paper if pulled the wrong way.
TWO HEADED KITTEN
this kitten suffers from craniopagus paraciticus. i know the name sounds painful, but it just means that it had a twin before it was born and absorbed most of it. plenty of you will probably say that with two heads this kitten would be twice as cute, or half as cute.
SPIDERCAT
meet the worlds only spidercat. i call it a spidercat because it has eight legs, it is not part spider. if you look closely you will see an extra tail and face.
CYCLOKITTY
something is missing from this cat, and you can probably guess what. if you guessed its eye, nose, and one side of its brain, you are correct. his name is cy, he suffered from cyclopia, which basically only forms half a head. other creatures with this condition are pigs, a sheepdog, a cow, and several humans. sadly, cy died after only a few days and most cyclopia sufferers dont even last one day. in some cases, creatures with cyclopia will actually grow a horn above their eye. in one case, a pig with cyclopia had one eye, four eyeballs, and a trunk like an elephant. with almost every case of cyclopia, the sufferer is born without a nose. the only known exception of this is pigs, several pigs with cyclopia have a nose, but it is always deformed.
CHUPACABRA HEAD
if you remember, i told you about a dead chupacabra that turned out to be a fox with mange. if you do, than this is it.
HORRIBLY DIFIGURED PEOPLE
this may be the most hideous bunch of people you will ever see. on this picture, you can see a boy with part of his brain growng into his face, a man with his brain showing, two women with large lumps on their faces, a boy with hands but no arms, a boy with a large skull, a severed head, and something that i dont even want to know what it is.
ALIEN BABY
this picture wasn't photoshopped, it's a real picture. this isn't a picture of an alien, it is 100% human. this baby was born with a rare and fatal facial deformity called holoproencephaly. it causes the infected embryo to only form portions of its face. normally, if an embryo has holoproencephaly, the only part of its face that forms is one large eye and its ears, which are often on its chin. it resembles cyclopia, except cyclopia sufferers have an almost complete face except for one eye and a nose while holoproencephaly sufferers have almost no face. hardly any people with holoproencephaly live more than a few minutes, and those that do don't even last one day. what looks like an antennae on the head of the baby in the picture is most likely leftover skin from the parts of its face that never formed
WORLDS BIGGEST HAND
liu hua was born with the worlds biggest hand. he was born with a rare condition called macrodactyly, which literally means "giant didgets". the cause of macrodactyly is unknown. liu hua has lived with his giant hand for over 20 years. there are several other cases of macrodactyly. in one case, a four year old kid's left middle finger is five times its normal size and his right hand is the size of a basketball. liu's index finger is as big around as his arm and his hand weighs 30 pounds. liu has had a series of operations to remove the extra flesh and bone from his hand. the first surgery removed most of the deformity, but also cost him two of his fingers. his second surgery was done six months later. there is no other news on how he is recovering.
TWO HEADED MAN
chang tzu ping was born with a second mouth and part of a brain on the side of his face. the second mouth would smile when chang smiled and move when chang's mouth moved. the reason why chang had a second face is because he had a condition called fetus infetu, which causes one twin to form inside the body of the other twin. in most cases, the twin is a complete fetus inside the living twin, but in chang's case, his twin partially developed outside his body. in another case of fetus infetu, a baby was born with his unborn twin's foot in his brain. chang's second face was eventually removed, along with the rest of his twin. the only remaining sign of the surgery is chang's right ear, which was deformed to compinsate for his extra mouth. the large black mass on chang's face was most likely the location of his twin's brain.
WORLDS YOUNGEST MOTHER
lina medina was born on september 27, 1933. one day, her parents took her to the hospital because her abdomin was getting larger and they thought it was a tumor. the doctor said the swelling wasn't a tumor. somehow, lina was pregnant. at five years old, she was the worlds youngest mother. she became pregnant because of an extremely rare medical phenominon called a precocious pregnancy, which means her reproductive system started working shortly after she was born, as opposed to age 16-18. lina was the first and only person to develop a precocious pregnancy. she gave birth to a son named gerardo. gerardo survived being born to a five year old mother. he was raised by lina's older sister and didn't know that lina was his mother until he was 10. lina eventually had a second child at age 38. gerardo died at age 40 from bone marrow disease. lina is still alive and is still married and lives in lima, peru.
MERMAID GIRL
shiloh pepin was born in kennebunkport, maine in august 1999. she was born with sirenomelia, also called mermaid syndrome. sirenomelia causes a baby's entire lower body to fuse together to resemble a mermaid's tail. shiloh was also born with no colon, no bladder, one ovary, and only a quarter of one kidney. of all of the recorded cases of sirenomelia, only a handful live longer than one day. the reason is because babies with sirenomelia are normally born without kidneys, a colon, or a bladder, which means their bodies can't remove or process waste, which eventually kills them. the first sirenomelia survivor was a girl named tiffany yorks. she survived having her legs seperated, but the surgery made her legs brittle and deformed and eventually caused one of her legs to snap when she twisted her ankle. of all of the cases of sirenomelia, shiloh is the only one to have never had her legs seperated. her refusal to have her legs seperated has caused her to rapidly gain weight because of her decreased metabolism and caused her severe strain on her left arm, which she uses to walk. shiloh is now nine years old and has started swimming, which is extremely challenging for her because she has almost no use of her legs. shiloh still hasn't had her legs seperated, but says she will when she is ready. because shiloh has only one ovary and no birth canal, shiloh can't have babies, which will prevent her from passing on sirenomelia.
WORLDS HAIRIEST HUMAN
yu zhenhuan holds the record for the worlds hairiest man. 96% of his body is covered in hair. he suffers from hypertricosis, a defect that causes rapid hair growth. the only parts of his body that aren't covered in hair are the palms of his hands and the soles of his feet. ironically, he isn't a sideshow performer, he's a rock star. his stage name is king kong. he claims he isn't the least bit ashamed of his deformity, in fact, he sometimes performs without a shirt. the hair covering his body is so thick, his eyelashes are thick enough to block his eyes and he once needed surgery to remove the hair from his ears because it was impairing his hearing. he has two different websites with pictures of him to boost his music career. according to him, he was called a caveman as a child. he says that if he had a choice to remove the extra hair from his body, he wouldn't. he says it made him famous.
MOST TATTOOED MAN
in 2006, lucky diamond rich became the most tattooed man on earth. rich is a performance artist, doing everything from chainsaw juggling to sword swallowing. the previous record holder was tom leppard, who had every part of his body except his ears and between his toes covered in a leopard spot tattoo. the reason why rich became the most tattooed man is because he layered his tattoos. he started by covering his entire body in colorful designs. he then covered his body in black ink. after that, he covered his body in white ink, then more colored designs. he also has more parts of his body tattooed than tom leppard. he has tattoos on every part of his body including inside his ears, between his toes, his eyelids, and even the inside of his mouth.
COWHIDE GIRL
li xiaoyuan is a normal 6 year old girl, except one thing her skin is slowly turning into leather. her leathery skin started as just a birthmark on her back. after several months, it started spreading and now her back, arms, and face are covered in hairy, cowhide-like skin. doctors are confused about the cause of her condition and can't operate because of the severity of her condition. it is currently unknown if her leathery skin will go away or get worse. her condition could be a form of psoriasis, a fairly common skin condition that causes skin cells to die, or hyperpigmentation, excessive pigment in skin, but she most likely has a newly discovered disease because she is the first recorded case of this disease.
HUMAN CORAL REEF
lin tianzhuan from china has been called the human coral reef. he is slowly growing a hard, calcified shell over his entire body for the past 25 years. he has led the life of a recluse for years because children were afraid of him. the hard shell covering his skin is the result of HPV, an immuno-deficiency disorder that almost completely eliminates the immune system, often causing warts. his shell is a mass of warts that have hardened on his skin. the warts grow on almost every part of his body, making him almost incapable of moving. doctors have recently performed an operation on him to remove most of his warts, but because HPV is incurable, they will eventually grow back.
999 EYES FREAK SHOW
the 999 eyes freak show(pronounced triple nine eyes) is the world's last traveling freak show. the performers are t-rex the flipper man, a man with phocomelia(seal arms), lobster girl, a girl with ectrodactyly(lobster claw syndrome) on one hand, the human tripod, a girl born with only one underformed leg, lowrent the clown, the 27 inch woman, a girl with dwarfism, eric the gentle giant, a 7 foot tall man with gigantism, peg-leg the elephant man, a man with tumors covering his body, black scorpion, a man with ectrodactlyl on both hands and three fingers on each hand, the dancing dwarf, another girl with dwarfism, and the giant handed man, a man born with one hand several times larger than the other. the giant handed man is also ambidexterous. the 999 eyes has a few non freaks, such as the sword swallower, the eyeball extractor,tiger lady, the fire clown, the worm eater, and samantha x, the sideshow's manager. not only is the 999 eyes the last freakshow in america, it's also the only show of naturally born freaks
DONALD TRUMP CAT
in salem, oregon, a cat was born with a bizarre defect. the cat, named the donald, was born with a thick, fibrous, fatty mass on his head. the donald's owner says she named him because the mass on his head reminds her of donald trump's combover hairstyle. though the mass itself is benign, it covers his entire face, obstructing his vision. because of this, the mass was eventually removed.
SHARK BITE CESAREAN
believe it or not, the huge wound on the side of the shark in this picture wasn't the result of a fight or a shark attack, it was from a cesarean section birth, but not in any way ever seen before. humans have been performing cesarean sections on animals, including sharks, for several years, but ironically, a human didn't perform it, another shark did. in an aukland, new zealand aquarium, a male shark bit a female shark and four baby sharks swam out. after being bitten, the handlers at the aquarium took the female shark to a seperate tank, removed four more baby sharks, and stitched up the wound. sharks have an uncanny ability to sense vibrations, so theoretically, the male shark could have sensed the baby sharks moving inside the female shark and tried to deliver them, but most likely, he was trying to eat the female and the cesarean birth was just a coincidence, considering sharks are famous for killing and eating their own kind, there have even been cases of unborn baby sharks killing and eating their unborn siblings while still in the female's womb. thankfully, the female shark and all her babies survived and appear to be doing well.
CHICKEN GENDER CHANGE
gianni the chicken looks like a normal hen, but she's anything but normal. believe it or not, gianni was born a male. the reason for gianni's gender change was necessity, gianni was the only surviving chicken after a fox raided his home and killed all of the hens. because he was the only male and the only survivor, he was unable to reproduce. over the course of several days, gianni underwent a full gender change, he even started laying eggs. amazingly, spontaneous gender change in animals is a lot more common than most people think. in one case, a peahen inexplicable underwent a gender change and became a peacock. in another case, a female chicken became a male after suffering severe damage to its ovaries. there are even entire species that can undergo a gender change, including clownfish, clownfish live in a matriarcial society, meaning the females are dominant, and when the dominant female in a colony dies, the most dominant male becomes a female, and whiptail lizards, female whiptail lizards become male during mating season because male whiptail lizards are extinct. scientists plan on examining gianni to discover how he became a female.
